美國老牌音樂大獎葛萊美音樂獎（Grammy Awards，第屆港譯「格林美獎」），葛萊於台灣／香港時間11月24日凌晨公布2022年的美獎名單入圍名單。攤開本屆名單，入圍入圍饒舌最大贏家為爵士音樂家喬恩巴蒂斯特（Jon Batiste），韓國總計提名11項大獎成為此階段的連兩年歷史領跑者。
此外，寫下包含小賈斯汀（Justin Bieber）、傳奇蜜桃貓朵佳（Doja Cat）、第屆H.E.R.以8項提名緊追在後，葛萊而近年崛起的美獎名單怪奇比莉（Billie Eilish）以及「超級新人」奧莉維亞羅德里戈（Olivia Rodrigo）則是並列入圍7項。
而也值得一提的入圍入圍饒舌是，韓國天團防彈少年團（BTS）也憑藉《Butter》入圍最佳流行對唱／組合獎（Best Pop Duo / Group Performance），韓國這是連兩年歷史BTS連續兩年獲得該獎項提名，同時也是寫下韓國團體的首次壯舉。除了葛萊美獎之外，BTS在11月22日全美音樂獎（AMA）頒獎典禮也榮獲「最受歡迎組合」、「最受歡迎歌曲」，更拿下「年度藝人」大獎，成為第一組獲得此獎的亞洲藝人，寫下歷史新頁。
本屆葛萊美獎競爭激烈，四大通類獎項從原來的8個入圍名額增加到10個，根據外媒《綜藝報》指出，美國錄音學院首席執行長小哈維梅森（Harvey Mason Jr.）表示，今年的報名數量寫下瘋狂的數字，同時這也是令人難以置信的機會，讓學院能夠向更多藝術家致敬，並照亮他們的美妙音樂。
葛萊美獎的入圍名單，是由美國錄音學院的會員投票選出，該機構由大約由1萬2000名音樂製作人組成，其中包含唱片藝術家、詞曲創作者、製作人、混音師等相關職業。
至於今年的一些相關亮點統計，奧莉維亞羅德里戈在四大通類中皆有提名，而除了最佳新人之外，她在所有入圍的類別中，都將面臨來自怪奇比莉和Lil Nas X的競爭；阿巴合唱團憑藉〈I Still Have Faith In You〉首次角逐年度最佳製作；泰勒絲憑藉專輯《Evermore》連續兩年獲得最佳專輯提名，但泰勒絲今年只入圍這一項目；酷玩樂團的單曲〈Higher Power〉讓他們獲得第36次葛萊美獎提名；經過本屆葛萊美獎之後，美國饒舌天王Jay-Z成為葛萊美史上提名次數最多的藝人，共獲83次提名。
第64屆葛萊美獎將於美國時間2022年1月31日（台灣／香港時間2月1日）於洛杉磯舉行頒獎典禮。
